Jason Derulo Set To Launch 1st Headline Tour for 2010
Jason Derulo is finally ready to ride solo and tour on his own. The ‘In My Head’ singer is set to kick off his 1st tour as a headline act on September 27th in Philidelphia via his label Warner Bros. Records. Jason Derulo previously played concerts as an opening act for Lady GaGa and the Black Eyed Peas on certain dates. Check out the full list of tour dates below for 2010:

Jason Derulo To Embark On Major U.S. Headlining Tour On September 27, 2010
Red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo will embark on his first headlining tour of the U.S. beginning September 27th in Philadelphia, PA. The tour, which features special guest Auburn, will criss-cross the country before winding up October 29th in Fairfield, CT. Pre-sale tickets for AOL AIM Presents Jason Derulo powered by Samsung Mobile will be available August 5th through Ticketmaster and go on-sale to the general public on August 6th and 7th. Confirmed tour dates are listed below.

This is Jason Derulo’s first tour of the U.S. since his six-week stint on the road with Lady Gaga on her sold-out “Monster Ball” tour of North America in January 2010. Derulo recently wrapped several support dates with Black Eyed Peas in Canada and will appear at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan this weekend, before headlining his sold-out UK tour in August. His long-awaited U.S. headlining tour will be a five-week run between his European and Australian dates.

Jason Derulo Biography
Jason Derulo was born to Haitian parents on September 21, 1989 in Miami. He started making performances since the age of five and wrote his first song, "Crush On You", when he was eight. He recalled on from where he learned music, "I grew up as a huge Michael Jackson fan, studying his videos, copying all his moves. I'd practice singing Usher and Justin Timberlake songs while doing their moves."

He then moved to New York and studied American Musical and Dramatic Academy. At the age of twelve, he met his future manager Frank Harris who then helped him improving his basketball skill. Four years later, he began writing songs for big stars such as P. Diddy, Danity Kane, Donnie Klang, Sean Kingston, Cassie and Lil' Mama.

"I was most impressed initially with Jason's writing," producer J.R. Rotem praised him. "Although we knew he was interested in being a solo artist, we were feeling him out as a writer.
